The base is located at Marina Bas du Fort in Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, one of the best-equipped marinas in the Caribbean. It is easily accessible thanks to its proximity to Pôle Caraïbes International Airport, which offers direct flights and connections from major European cities. Marina Bas du Fort is an ideal starting point for sailing and exploring the Guadeloupe archipelago, a true tropical paradise. As soon as you cast off, you can head toward Les Saintes, considered among the most beautiful bays in the world. Here you can go ashore to stroll through picturesque Creole villages, enjoy local dishes based on fresh seafood, and relax on golden-sand beaches. A stop at Terre-de-Haut is a must, for a seaside lunch and a visit to Fort Napoléon. Sailing north, you can reach Marie-Galante, renowned for its rum distilleries, white-sand beaches, and its authentic, laid-back atmosphere. Time seems to slow down here, among sugarcane plantations, small villages, and turquoise waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Continuing along the coast of Basse-Terre, you will discover wild bays, seabeds rich in marine life, and stretches of coastline dominated by lush tropical vegetation. Among the recommended stops is Malendure, the gateway to the Cousteau Reserve, one of the best diving and snorkeling sites in the Caribbean. More adventurous sailors can venture as far as Antigua and Barbuda or explore the less-frequented islets of the archipelago, enjoying sheltered anchorages, crystal-clear waters, and unforgettable sunsets—experiencing an authentic and deeply rewarding Caribbean sailing adventure.
