NSS Charter expands its presence in the Mediterranean with two new operational bases for the 2026 season, in San Teodoro, Sardinia, and Trapani, Sicily, strengthening its network and offering new sailing opportunities among some of the most iconic destinations of the Italian sea.
The two new openings join the existing bases already operating in Cala dei Sardi in Sardinia, Marina di Cala de’ Medici in Tuscany, Marina d’Arechi in Campania, and Portorosa in Sicily, as well as the Caribbean destinations, confirming the growth strategy of NSS Charter, today the leading Italian charter company, with a fleet of around 150 vessels including sailing boats and catamarans, ranging from 10 to 24 meters.
Thanks to this offering, NSS Charter clients can choose from numerous itineraries in the Mediterranean all the way to the most exclusive Caribbean routes, combining crystal-clear waters, nature, and culture across some of the most fascinating areas in the world.

san teodoro

The New Charter Base in San Teodoro

Among the new features of the 2026 season is the new operational base at Marina di San Teodoro, in the heart of the north-eastern coast of Sardinia. The base will host around eight catamarans, available both for daily charters and weekly charters with embarkations on Saturday and Wednesday, a formula already successfully tested at Cala dei Sardi that ensures greater flexibility when planning a vacation.
The marina is a modern and safe harbor overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area. From here it is possible to reach Tavolara Island and Molara Island in just a few minutes, as well as some of the most famous beaches on the Gallura coast such as La Cinta and Cala Brandinchi.
Heading north, itineraries allow sailing towards the Costa Smeralda and the La Maddalena archipelago, while to the south the route follows the spectacular eastern coast of Sardinia all the way to Arbatax, among cliffs, untouched bays, and some of the clearest seabeds in the Mediterranean.
Marina di San Teodoro is about 30 km from Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport and can also be easily reached from the port of Olbia, as well as from Alghero Airport and the ferry connections with Porto Torres. The presence of parking areas and services in the immediate vicinity makes logistics even easier for crews.

The New Trapani Base and the Egadi Routes

The second new feature of the season is the base in Trapani, the natural gateway to the Egadi Islands, one of the most fascinating corners of the Mediterranean.
From Trapani it is possible to sail between Favignana, Levanzo, and Marettimo, stopping in spectacular bays such as Cala Rossa or Cala Minnola and with the opportunity to explore sea caves and crystal-clear seabeds.
Itineraries can also extend along the western coast of Sicily, with stops in Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, and Castellammare del Golfo, or towards the Stagnone lagoon of Marsala, among historic salt pans and spectacular sunsets.

A Network of Destinations to Explore the Mediterranean

With the new openings in San Teodoro and Trapani, NSS Charter further expands its presence in the Mediterranean, offering clients a network of bases that allows them to choose among very different itineraries, from the turquoise waters of Sardinia to the volcanic islands of Sicily, all the way to the tropical destinations of the Caribbean.
Modern fleets, strategically located bases, and dedicated services make NSS Charter a benchmark for international nautical tourism and high-quality yacht charter.
